Virginia House Wedding | St Peter Catholic Church

Clare and John had the most stunning spring day for their St Peter Catholic Church wedding and Virginia House wedding reception! They couldn’t have timed their date any better to take advantage of the tall trees brimming with beautiful pink blooms. What a beautiful symbol of life and beauty to begin their marriage together!

Both of the couple’s wedding venues have such a rich history. So fitting for a day where two families are coming together and forming a legacy of their own. St Peter Catholic Church is the oldest Catholic church in Richmond. Established in 1834, it features beautiful neoclassical architecture. The Virginia House features Tudor architecture, and it opened in 1925 after an English Priory was purchased, and the salvaged materials were shipped to the US and reassembled on the site in Windsor Farms. Both venues lent a timeless feel to the day.

The couple shared an intimate celebration with close family and friends and it couldn’t have been more perfect. As you scroll through the images, you’ll notice one shot from their first dance where nearly every person in attendance is visible behind them. It’s so intimate and emotion-filled.

Clare and John met shortly after Clare moved to Richmond for graduate school, and you can see from their joyful interactions that it was a match made in heaven!
