Virginia Wedding Photographers
Thanks for stopping by! I’m Stacie, and I’m a Richmond, Virginia wedding photographer and destination wedding photographer. I’m also a mom, a lover of art and architecture, road trips, and world travel. We are experienced Virginia wedding photographers who love to serve you from your engagement session through your wedding day and beyond. I love providing MAP couples with a wedding photography experience that naturally allows us to capture joyful, authentic images on your big day! It’s my hope that the friendships created with our MAP Couples lasts long after the last sparkler has burned out. I’m so happy you’re here and hope you’ll keep scrolling to find out what’s special about becoming a MAP Bride!
MAP Couples appreciate the real, candid, emotional moments of their wedding day. Many couples choose to share an intimate, romantic First Look with one another and I must confess, I usually tear up right along with them! MAP Brides often share that one of the photos they’re most looking forward to seeing is one that captures the groom’s expression as the bride walks down the aisle. I also love capturing the sentimental details from the day, whether it be grandma’s rose gold opal ring, grandpa’s pocket watch or a hand-embroidered handkerchief that serves as the bride’s something old, borrowed and blue! (I’m a hopeless romantic, can you tell?)
For much of the day, I’ll be a documentary photographer—capturing life as it happens. During this time, you shouldn’t even know I’m there! Other times of the day, I’ll be more hands on—coordinating family formals, orchestrating a First Look, arranging your wedding party. This mix of candid moments and naturally posed portraits help give you the best wedding photography results.
Virginia ENGAGEMENT PhotographerS
I’m a sucker for a good love story, but I know that each story is different. So whether you met your sweetheart in school, you locked eyes across a crowded gallery opening, or you both swiped right, I want to capture the real you and what's really important to you.
One way we do that is through your engagement session.
We include complimentary engagement portrait sessions in all our wedding collections. It's our goal at Marshall Arts Photography to get to know our brides and grooms better so they're comfortable on their wedding day! Not only does an engagement session give us a chance to know you better, but you'll also learn how we pose couples so you'll be a natural on your wedding day and will have one less thing to worry about! It also helps us take your wedding day portraits more quickly so we can get you back to your guests sooner!

Here are 40+ of some of my favorite Virginia wedding venues, and several that are on my bucket list of venues where I’d like to shoot! Some, like The Homestead and The Greenbrier (though it’s actually in WV) have sentimental value. While others inspire me creatively with their beauty and surroundings! Helloooo Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards!
