Erin + Alex’s Virginia Engagement Photos in Sperryville

Erin and Alex are the cutest couple, and I just loved spending time with them during their Northern Virginia engagement session in the Shenandoah. We met up in Historic Sperryville and spent the first part of their photo session in this cute little town that’s pretty tiny, but packed with charm! I just loved all the quaint Victorian architecture here!

Then we headed to Alex’s family farm for the second half of their session. Alex has always loved the views there, and we were lucky enough to have his family along with us during their session to drive us to all his favorite places on the property. When the couple decided they wanted to shoot some photos on the pond there, a four-wheeler literally pulled up to make an oar delivery! It was such fun exploring the property with them and getting to know them and Alex’s family! His dad is quite the tour guide, and I appreciated them taking time to help show us around.

It’s easy to see why Alex and Erin love this area and why they wanted to have their engagement photos taken here. It’s so beautiful!

Erin and Alex are college sweethearts who met when friends introduced them at a date party at JMU. Erin shared, ‘He’s been my date ever since!’ These two are no strangers to epic views. The two went hiking together for four days in Peru in the area nestled between the Andes Mountains and the Amazon Basin. When they arrived at Machu Picchu, Alex surprised Erin by proposing!

Here are a few of my favorite images from their Virginia engagement session in Sperryville! Enjoy! :)
