I love taking pictures at Belle Isle because there are so many pretty views that make great portrait backgrounds. The quarry has nice soft peach colored rocks and vibrant green leaves reflecting in the pooled water beneath.

The Rocks on the James River offer fabulous views of the sunset, and the wide open fields beg you to stop and appreciate their lush expanses.

And if you're lucky enough to walk back over the pedestrian bridge right after sunset, you'll be treated to spectacular, sparkling views of the Richmond city skyline.
